How much does the Guide cost?

    • $399, which includes the Study Guide with free shipping/handling in the United States and access to the online lectures/slides.

    How can I pay for the Study Guide?

    • You can pay for the Guide using PayPal with a credit card.  You do not need a PayPal account to use the service.

    How soon can I receive the Guide?

    • Typically, the Study Guide is shipped within 2-3 business days with USPS Priority Mail. Most shipping is received within 2-3 days in the US. If requested, we can provide a tracking number.

    Is it worth it?

    • We have had a number of physicians (including Mohs surgeons, dermatopathologist and dermatologists) review the Guide and all felt it was a good resource to help study for the exam. Accuracy has been emphasized, but this is more a quick review in bullet-format to review for the exam only. See the attached excerpts to get an example of the Guide.

    Does it cover all the ABD Study Guide’s objectives?

    • We attempted to cover as much of the objectives as possible with a goal of covering 95% or more of the material for the exam. See the “Table of Contents” webpage for a list of covered topics.

    Can we get a refund?

    • No refunds are offered after payment received, but if you do not receive the Guide, we will ensure we send an additional copy.

    Do you offer an electronic or PDF version?

    • No electronic or PDF version is offered for the Study Guide. It is provided in a hard-copy, spiral booklet to enable you to make notes easily, highlight areas, etc.

    Does the Guide have color images?

    • No. To keep the cost down and keep concise for review, the Study Guide does not use color images. For image-related objectives, such as frozen pathology, the Guide gives concise descriptors or “buzz-words” that should aid in identifying the diagnosis or answering an Exam question.

      As an added benefit with the Study Guide Review purchase, you gain access to the online Mohs Dermatopathology Review Slides and recorded lectures until the Board Exam this year (access ends after Board Exam), which have color images and slides.
